Sampling used simple random sampling technique with household as the sampling unit. The sampling intensity is 15% of the population (224 families), thus the sample is 34 respondents. The results showed that the mangrove ecosystem in Satanger Village is quite potential to be developed for ecotourism purposes, with a total average score of 446.6. Abstract

Liukang Tangaya District is located in Pangkajene and Islands Regency, South Sulawesi Province. This district covers an area of 12000 ha and has a fairly extensive mangrove area.
