Abstract

Shaped beam lens antennas designed for the ACTS SAMBA Trial Platform are briefly presented as well as the coverage performance parameters. Cell coverage simulation results are presented, both in indoor and outdoor scenarios chosen for the system trials. Multiple coverage using two BSTs operating at different frequencies and at the same frequency is addressed here and different cellular configurations are studied in order to properly cover typical indoor and outdoor scenarios.
