This design has been introduced by using an array of two identical patch antennas each one with a circular slot along with an E-shaped parasitic element placed in the center of the circular slot. Also, a partial ground plane has been used to enhance the bandwidth of the antenna. The proposed antenna has an operating band from 2.45 GHz to 14.55 GHz that covers multiple 5G communication bands and fulfill the complete bandwidth of WiFi-5 and WiFi-6 applications. Abstract
In this paper, a new two-element ultra-wideband array antenna has been designed to serve 5G communications, WiFi-5, and WiFi-6.
