We describe the signaling interaction mode of MPTCP and the process of segment control technology applied in the satellite network. According to the requirements of real-time and accuracy of data transmission, we consider the link delay, stability, and packet loss rate, and construct the scheme as a maximum-flow minimum-cost problem. Abstract

Because of the challenges brought by the high dynamic topology of satellite networks to the transport layer, this paper is mainly devoted to a multipath transmission control protocol (MPTCP) path selection scheme based on segment control technology and software-defined networking (SDN). We describe the signaling interaction mode of MPTCP and the process of segment control technology applied in the satellite network. According to the requirements of real-time and accuracy of data transmission, we consider the link delay, stability, and packet loss rate, and construct the scheme as a maximum-flow minimum-cost problem.
