It is a reliable message oriented protocol providing multistreaming and multihoming. In this paper, a modified algorithm is proposed for dealing multiple packet losses which improves congestion control mechanism in network. Proposed SCTP is a simple sender side alteration to the SCTP congestion window update algorithm with same traditional SCTP receiver.
