Abstract
Currently, the crude oil from outstations (O/STN) wellsite contributes more than 30% of the total Sirikit Oilfileds (S1) production and will be increased to 50% of total production of Sirikit Oilfileds. According to the production profile of the NTM-A areas, NTM-A Onshore permanent production facilities are more likely to handle the higher gross production rate to up 20,000 BPD. Thus, it is essential to debottleneck NTM-A to handle the new gross production rate.
The existing capacity of NTM-A permanent production facilities is 13,000 BPD. In order to debottleneck NTM-A's capacity to 20,000 BPD, the capacities of the production separators, the indirect gas fired heaters, the storage tanks, the water injection system, and the utilities were re-verified at different percent water cuts. To minimize the project cost, all of new equipment was designed by our in-house engineering team. Lessons learned from the previous projects were taken into account and incorporated with the new design.
