The figure of G. Kostelnyk in the context of the liquidation of the UGCC at the Pseudo-Cathedral on March 8-10, 1946

Abstract

Unambiguous assessments of the figure of Fr. Gavriil Kostelnyk cannot be among the representatives of different denominations for a number of reasons. Supporters of the Moscow Patriarchate give him the highest marks. Representatives of the PCU are neutral towards him as a possible ally. Greek Catholics criticize him. In the complex of such approaches we have a vague figure, which in the history of our society will be perceived ambiguously for a long time.
