Among modulation techniques, space vector modulation (SVM) is a commonly used method for multilevel inverters. Therefore many advanced implementation algorithms have been proposed by researchers with less complexity. This paper provides an idea of the implementation algorithm for three-level (3-L) space vector modulation (SVM) for N3V. This paper focuses on details analysis of an algorithm based on an equivalent two-level space vector diagram. This paper aims to generate the line voltage of 2-Level VSI and 3-Level NPCI by using 2 level and 3 level space vector modulation technique and compare THD. Multilevel inverters have been used in various applications alternative to 2-L inverter due to advantages like reduction in THD.
