It is shown how design and production approaches must be carefully selected and approved because of the peculiarities of the 'starved' as compared to the 'flooded' lead-acid system. Abstract
The laboratory and field behavior of Monolite valve-regulated SLA (sealed lead-acid) batteries for stand-by applications is reviewed from the standpoint of critical components and performance.
