Abstract

Lexis on rural farm in the first novels of Wiesław Myśliwski Summary The lexis associated with the countryside, and thus the farm, is a permanent element of Wiesław Myśliwski’s novel. This s especially visible in the first three writer’s works: Nagi sad, Pałac and Kamień na kamieniu – they assigned the author to the peasant trend of Polish literature. The aim of this article will be a linguistic and stylistic analysis of the lexis related to the rural farm, and the research undertaken is to show the means used by the writer in the linguistic creation of the area in question.
