Abstract

Three methods are described for providing increased float voltage levels to lead acid cells, while maintaining output line voltage at acceptable or well regulated levels. The first is a momentary boost of individual cells, one at a time, the second is a momentary boost of three cells, one group at a time, and the third method is a momentary 'blast' of individual cells, one at a time.
