Abstract

This paper is devoted to the study of the effect of a nonhomogeneous in space and time-varying magnetic induction on parametric generation in crossed fields. It is shown that the introduction into the interaction space of the instrument along with the variable magnetic induction and a constant magnetic field inhomogeneous along the axis of the device leads to an increase in the output characteristics: the induced current, the induced power, and as a consequence the increase in efficiency. In the final authors shows the main output characteristics of the considered case of parametric generation in crossed fields.
