The proper application of AI in the educational system can improve educational quality all over the world by shifting the role of teacher to that of a facilitator. Abstract

Artificial Intelligence now became a part and parcel of everyone's life. It has started penetrating in almost every aspects of human life including education. In this conceptual paper the author tried to explore the emergence and use of artificial intelligence in the educational arena.
