Abstract

The article focuses on two main points: Land and Central people in Nguyen Minh Chau's compositions. This Central regional land is harsh and hard because of rocks, weather, and especially it is “the navel of war”. With his love and respect for the land, Nguyen Minh Chau has found its poetic, lyrical nature as well as its majestic and magnificent beauty. Also, on this land, the “face” of the Central people shines with the beauty of perseverance, patience, and extraordinary energy. People in the Central region have a loyal personality: loyal to the land and loyal to people, even to the souls of the sacrificed). Even though, people in this land are full of creation, intelligence, and a strong desire to live despite hardships and difficulties. Nguyen Minh Chau is always in pain, longing to find “the pearl hidden in the depths of the human soul” through his written works about the Central people. As a result, he found such precious pearls and brightened them.
