Abstract

With increasing interest in energy management in industries, the process of energy auditing has become convoluted. At present, there are no efficient tools to aid the non-value adding energy auditing. This paper presents a tool which will assuage the sophistication in addressing this major segment. Proposed energy auditing process is structured based on Energy Value Stream Mapping (EVSM) techniques. The effectiveness of the proposed technique has been validated using a test system with a maximum demand of 450kVA and 3.5% reduction in Energy consumption was reported.
