The structure is simple and easy to manufacture. Abstract

A TEM horn antenna that can be used for ultra-wide spectrum life detection is designed. Through the circular arced horn arm, the end structure and the resistance composite load, and the feeding port add reflector, the antenna size is effectively reduced to half a meter. The simulation results show that the designed antenna has a voltage standing wave ratio less than 2 in the range of 0.175~4GHz.
