Abstract
The plastic anisotropy parameters (R coefficient and height of ears of the drawn cup) have been
calculated from ultrasonic orientation distribution function (ODF) coefficients on the basis of Taylor
theory for low carbon steel and aluminium alloy sheets. The ODF coefficients were defined by Sayers
method and using the iterative procedure on the basis of measurement of bulk longitudinal and shear
wave time delays.
