Abstract

This paper presents a low-cost positioning application based on Linear Switched Reluctance Motor (LSRM). The Design, modeling and experimental results of the motor are detailed and presented in this study. The proposed control strategy is based on Sliding Mode Control (SMC) to control the velocity.
