On Becoming Team Players

Abstract

Migration from one automated system to another brings with it a very different set of problems than moving from a manual to an online environment. This experience at Boston College was an opportunity for Public and Technical Services staff to become team players working toward the same end goal. Ownership of the database becomes shared, and individual perspectives are broadened. Opportunities are provided to develop new relationships outside the library.
