The system is based on array of 12 light-sensitive sensors with lenses arranged in the center of the facets of a dodecahedron. Primary image processing is performed with the use of designed by the authors, on the algorithms PLD (programmable logic devices). Image processing includes the removal of distortions, masking, calibration, image formation on the sphere describing the dodecahedron and obtaining equidistant projection. Abstract
In this article, the review of components and algorithms which were used by the authors in the development of portable digital device UHDTV panoramic image formation.
