Finally, a detailed wind farm model with 34 squirrel-cage induction generator (SCIG) WTGs and the corresponding aggregated model are established on PSCAD simulation software. The dynamic characteristics of the two models at the point of common coupling (PCC) under grid fault condition are simulated and compared. Abstract

The offshore wind farm is close to the load center, and its development scale is getting larger and larger. In order to study the dynamic characteristics of wind farms, it is obviously impractical to take detailed wind farm model as research object.
