Abstract
Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) is becoming an indispensable platform for collecting sensory data for city perception and supporting many promising commercial applications. At the same time, in order to solve the problem that vehicular ad hoc network is difficult to transmit large amounts of data, some researchers use compressed sensing to compress data with spatio-temporal correlation. This paper firstly introduces the basic theory of compressed sensing, and then focuses on the research progress of compressed sensing in the vehicular ad hoc network in recent years, and points out the next research direction.
