Abstract

Due to the trade-off between spatial and angular resolutions in light field cameras, the obtained resolutions of synthesized 2D images are often far less than those captured by conventional digital cameras using the same image sensor. This work proposes a complete digital image processing pipeline for hand-held light field cameras to generate high-resolution all-in-focus 2D images.
