Abstract
We examined the photoacoustic pressures in colloidal suspensions at different volume fractions by modelling light scattering and thermodynamic properties for photoacoustic imaging. The light scattering properties strongly influence the pressure compared with the thermodynamic properties when the region of interest is deeply inside the medium.
