Abstract
A dual broadband polarization conversion metasurface is presented in this paper. The metasurface is composed of periodic unit cells, each unit cell consists of a square-shaped resonator having three slits inside it. The surface efficiently transforms an incident linearly polarized electromagnetic (EM) wave into its cross component within the frequency bands of 7.4-10.5 GHz and 12.7-20 GHz. With its dual band operation on a single layer FR4 dielectric substrate, the subject metasurface is a good contender in the field of cross-polarization conversion metasurfaces.
