It supports the applications of a cellular system and IEEE Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) and radio navigation and provides lightweight, low cost, multiband functionality. Performance analysis shows improved radiation efficiency, antenna gain and radiation pattern along with a sufficient reduction in return loss. Detailed design considerations of the proposed antenna are described. Abstract
