Abstract
Time-spectrum convolution is successfully employed for implementing asynchronous optical DPSK pattern recognition. Dynamic switched recognition of different 64-bit patterns in 12Gb/s DPSK-PRBS optical burst with contrast ratio up to 3.8dB is demonstrated.
