Abstract
The single-server Pareto/M/1/k teletraffic system is with a peaked arrival process described by the generalized Pareto distribution, exponentially distributed service time and a final queue length. A model by real time simulation for analysis the state probabilities, the losses and the delays is developed for investigating this queueing system.
