Abstract

The experimentally obtained time-amplitude dependences of near-zone EM fields of the UWB planar “bow-tie” radiators have been presented in the work. The dependence of post-pulse oscillation amplitudes on the radiator shape and the magnitude of load resistance have been investigated. Conditions of the effective radiation of EM pulses with a required amplitude and the least long-drawn-out and amplitude-suppressed post-pulse oscillations have been determined.
