Abstract

The paper considers the mechanism of plastic deformation of welded joints determined by the flow bands on low-carbon steel when welding elements of variable stiffness in food engineering. The influence of the width of the welded sheet metal on low-temperature plastic deformation is studied in the article, the shapes of plates that have lost stability are considered.
