Abstract
On a recent Four Corners Geological Society field trip down the San Juan River, Utah, samples containing Gryphaea newberryi were collected from Cretaceous strata in the Mule Ear Diatreme (StuartAlexander, et al., 1972; Ellingson, 1973). The diatreme is located in the south-central part of T. 41 S., R. 20 E., San Juan County, Utah.
