Abstract

The exploitation of containers in the cloud has gained great attention due to increased portability, restricted overheads and faster and easier deployment. Regardless of the huge count of solutions, there are several problems, which are not entirely addressed in container allocation. This paper utilizes Rider Optimization Algorithm (ROA) for optimizing the allocation of container resources. A novel rescaled objective function is portrayed in this work, which takes account of “Threshold Distance, Balanced Cluster Use, System Failure and Total Network Distance”.
