Pengaruh Kepercayaan Diri Terhadap Motif Berprestasi pada Atlet Sumatera Utara di PON XIX Jawa Barat Tahun 2016

Abstract

This study aims to see the correlation and contribution of confidence aspects to the motives of north Sumatran athletes in PON XIX West Java in 2016. The research site is in PPLP-D Dormitory North Sumatra, PBSI Dormitory, and LPP STIP-AP Dormitory. The population was 309 people, the sample in the study amounted to 122 people. Data collection method using 2 scales, consisting of confidence scale and scale of achievement motives. This scale is organized based on the Likert scale, a gang of favourable and unfavourable forms. Data analysis techniques use measurement models that connect latent variables with observed variables through Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) analysis techniques, with evaluation stages of Convergent Validity, construck reliability, Average Varian Extracted (AVE) values, then determining discriminant validity and structural models. The results showed that the motive of achievement was explained by confidence of 62.3%. The remaining 37.7% was explained by other unexamined variables. This is indicated by the overall R-Square value of the aspect to the outstanding motif of 0.623. The results of these variables are as follows: 1) In confidence variables, 73 people (59.8%) in the high category and 49 people (40.2%) in the moderate category, 2) On variable motives of achievement, 103 people (84.4%) in the high category and 19 people (15.6%) in the moderate category. Based on the results of the convergent validity test it is known that all items have a loading factor (Original Sample) greater than 0.50 and a statistical (Z-score) above 1.96. The direct and indirect influence of every aspect studied on the motive of achievement is the contribution of confidence to the motive of achievement has a value of 62.29%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat korelasi dan kontribusi dari aspek kepercayaan diri terhadap motif berprestasi atlet Sumatera Utara di PON XIX Jawa Barat tahun 2016. Tempat penelitian berada di Asrama PPLP-D Sumatera Utara, Asrama PBSI, dan Asrama LPP STIP-AP. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 309 orang, sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 122 orang. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan 2 buah skala, terdiri dari skala kepercayaan diri dan skala motif berprestasi. Skala ini disusun berdasarkan skala Likert, gengan bentuk favourable dan unfavourable. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model pengukuran yang menghubungkan variabel laten dengan variabel teramati melalui teknik analisis Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), dengan tahapan evaluasi terhadap Convergent Validity, construck reliability, nilai Average Varian Extracted (AVE), kemudian menentukan discriminant validity dan model struktural. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motif berprestasi mampu dijelaskan oleh kepercayaan diri sebesar 62,3%. Sisanya sebesar 37,7% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai R-Square keseluruhan aspek terhadap motif berprestasi sebesar 0,623. Hasil dari variabel tersebut adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Pada variabel kepercayaan diri, 73 orang (59,8%) berada pada kategori tinggi dan 49 orang (40,2%) berada pada kategori sedang, 2) Pada variabel motif berprestasi, 103 orang (84,4%) berada pada kategori tinggi dan 19 orang (15,6%) berada pada kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas konvergen diketahui bahwa semua item memiliki faktor loading (Original Sample) lebih besar dari 0,50 dan statistik (Z-score) di atas 1,96. Pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung dari setiap aspek yang diteliti terhadap motif berprestasi adalah kontribusi kepercayaan diri terhadap motif berprestasi memiliki nilai sebesar 62,29%.
