Feasibility of music composition using artificial neural networks

Abstract

The composition of music is an art and has been considered something only possible by human creativity since times immemorial. Therefore, not many attempts have been made to allow artificial intelligences to compose music. This paper discusses developments in mathematics and their applications in artificial neural network based music composition and synthesis.
