Abstract

In this paper an algorithm for the calculation of railway running times in case of event-dependant infrastructure is presented. Based on the calculation of minimum headway times, this approach enables the calculation of the headway behaviour of trains. The algorithm is presented and evaluated for intermittent and continuous automatic train control with the explicit cases of the German PZB 90 and LZB CE.
