Abstract
The results of the research of the transition process of a three-phase combined bridge converter to the compensating mode of operation are presented. The main values that affect this process are switching voltages - phase voltages of the capacitor batteries. It is shown that not every commutating voltage is able to provide a compensatory mode of operation, scilicet the operation of three-phase groups of power electric valves with a leading control angle. In order to ensure the compensating mode of operation of the converter, the issue of efficient use of compensating capacitors is solved by a certain algorithm for switching the three-phase group of fully controlled devices of the commutating link of the converter. The conclusion concerning the optimum mode of formation of commutating voltage is made.
