Abstract

Vehicular Micro Cloud (VMC) is a group of connected vehicles where vehicles collaborate on tasks through vehicular networks. The formation strategy of VMC generally relies on local communication in which the first vehicle (i.e., the micro cloud leader) communicates with other nearby cars (i.e., micro cloud members) and forms the VMC. Such a forming strategy is practical, but it may limit the benefits of VMC. Micro cloud leaders must be in the communication range of other vehicles to form VMCs and lead the collaboration.
