United States Economic Expansion and Social Policy During the 1990's: Implications for Poor Americans

Abstract

This paper examines the impact of policies and programs implemented by the United States federal government during the 1990's on poor Americans. The primary objective of this review is to determine how poverty reduction policies and programs, along with the significant economic expansion of the United States economy during the 1990's impacted the economic predicament of people living below the poverty line.
