Department: Mother Infant Research Institute. Clinical Focus Areas: Maternal metabolism in women whose pregnancies are complicated by diabetes and obesity, the short and long-term effects on mothers and their children. Research Focus Areas: His research program is focused on a Lifestyle Intervention in Preparation for Pregnancy (LIPP). This is a RCT that is being conducted at Tufts Medical Center, the Pennington Biologic Research Center and Case Western Reserve University.
