Abstract

Data acquisition refers to the act of collecting data on a large scale. This paper presents a qualitative and quantitative analysis of two data acquisition techniques, namely, Pen and Paper Interviewing (PAPI) and Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI). It cites two case studies to clearly define the difference between the two techniques.
