Abstract

Vulnerability scanning is a process that involves using software tools to identify security weaknesses in computer systems, networks, or applications. There are various architectures that can be used for vulnerability scanning, such as client-server and peer-to peer. Auto-encoding Bayesian algorithms are a type of machine learning algorithm that can be used to automatically identify vulnerabilities in software systems. These algorithms use a technique called ‘‘Bayesian inference’’ to analyze large amounts of data and identify patterns that indicate potential security weaknesses. They can be used to automatically scan software systems for vulnerabilities and alert administrators to any potential risks.
