On the other hand, rotifers fed the yeast (S. cerevisiae) showed the lowest population growth (355 Indv. /mL). The outcome of the current study indicates that S. parkle commercial diet is very appropriate for the stock culture of B. plicatilis due to its ability to increase the growth rate of the rotifer in a short time under the current conditions. S.
