Kentsel Donatı Elemanlarının Kent Estetiği Açısından Değerlendirilmesi Kahramanmaraş Kenti Örneği

Abstract

With the developing technology changing living conditions and rapid urbanization have formed similar cities by increasing inter-city interaction. This situation leads to the formation of cities without identity and aesthetics. One of the important urban assets that determines the urban fabric, urban aesthetics and identity are the urban equipment. From this point of view, it is aimed to evaluate the urban equipment of the city of Kahramanmaras in Trabzon and Hukumet streets from the perspective of landscape architecture. For this purpose, the urban equipment in the research area have evaluated according to aesthetic principles that compliance, perceptibility, functionality, maintenance integrity and originality. As a result of the study, it is determined that urban equipment are not all and unique designs, the positions of some equipment such as sitting unit and artistic objects are not functional. In the research area, they have been developed suggestions which will positively affect urban aesthetics of urban equipment.
