From the analysis of the network, voltage deviation falls within the range of -5.9 to -180.5% which is completely outside the permissible range of ±5%. Abstract

Optimal capacitor placement in the distribution network is the most popular technique adopted for the control of power loss and enhancement of Volts Ampere Reactive for effective power delivery. This study, therefore, discusses improvement of distribution efficiency of 11kV power lines through placement of capacitor banks in the network.
