The optimal dimensions of the designed antenna are 30 × 30 × 0.76 mm3. An antenna is built and measured. Abstract

A planar monopole antenna designed for multi-band applications which can cover the sub-6 GHz (3.8 – 7.91 GHz), wireless local area network WLAN (5.2 and 5.8 GHz), ku-band (12.59 – 13.92 GHz), k-band, 5G (19.9 – 27 GHz) and ka-band, 5G (34 – 38.49 GHz), frequency bands.
