Abstract
Multilevel current source inverter has attracted extensive attention because of its high security and low output di/dt. In order to generate more levels with fewer devices, reduce the circuit cost and simplify control method, a new multilevel asymmetric current source inverter topology with switched inductor is proposed. In this paper, the inverter topology, working principle, modulation strategy and inductor current control method are described. Finally, the correctness of the theoretical analysis is verified by computer simulation.
