Abstract

In this contribution, the impact of Cellular Nonlinear Networks (CNNs) research in scientific community is discussed. The history of CNN s in the so-called “Etna Valley” is shown, remarking as CNNs established a permanent link among various other researches increasing the scientific interests in more topics. Moreover, it is shown as the CNN subject contributed to the cultural development not only among University groups but at large.
