Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) and chatbots have been gaining popularity in recent years because of their ability to converse naturally and their wide array of applications. A chatbot is a software tool that can be used to simulate human conversation with audio or textual technologies. This study developed a chatbot web application that can help the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila to effectively answer applicants' concerns through the web chatbot. The web chatbot application can be used by applicants to ask questions, can learn to address repetitive questions using the history of questions in training, and avoids pile-ups and delays by answering applicants’ queries instantly.
