Results: There was a highly statistically significant negative correlation between emotional intelligence and burnout among nurses, and a highly statistically significant positive correlation between emotional intelligence and psychological capital and job performance among studied nurses following program implementation. Conclusion: These results provide evidence of the efficacy of the emotional intelligence training program in reducing burnout and increasing level of emotional intelligence, psychological capital and performance of studied nurses. Abstract
