Frontrunners Against Inequality: the stories of Darpan and Barwago

Abstract

Darpan Raj Gautam and Barwaqo Jamma Husein share their experiences with their participation in the project “Part of the Community”, organised by the Danish NGO, MS Action Aid Denmark. The aim was to establish a forum for young people in the club to help them gain influence and democratic experiences. Based on the method ‘Journey mapping’ Gautam and Hussain share their personal experiences and visions of being engaged in change processes and political activities that can challenge young people’s experiences of inequality related to living in deprived neighborhoods.
